Directions to The Landmark

We are just a hop, skip, and a ferry ride away!

Landmark Orcas Island is located in northwest Washington State. To quote the Orcas Island Chamber Website:

“There are several modes of transportation to Orcas Island and the beautiful San Juan Islands, in addition to the popular Washington State Ferries. Visitors can also come by private boat, airplane or seaplane (including Kenmore Air) directly from several locations listed below, depending on the season. We highly suggest making a ferry reservation to avoid extra long wait times, especially during the summer. No matter how you get here, the scenery is spectacular and getting here is half the fun!"

Directions to the Washington State Ferries Anacortes Terminal:

“If you are coming by car and taking a Washington State Ferry, the mainland terminal which serves the San Juans is located in Anacortes, Washington, 80 miles northwest of Seattle. Follow Interstate highway I-5 north from Seattle, take Exit 230 and follow Highway 20 west to Anacortes. Once you are in Anacortes, take a left on 12th Street (Safeway will be on the right), then follow the signs to the ferry terminal and ticketing booths.”

From the Ferry:

Landmark Orcas Island is a little to far from the ferry for walking, so if you walked onto the ferry (great option during the summer), you can rent mopeds, take a shuttle bus or rent a car. So whether you come in on a sea plane into Deer Harbor, take a more conventional flight into Orcas Island Airport, or walk on the ferry, not having a car isn’t a deal-breaker. Once you get to Orcas Island and have your transportation figured out, just follow the main road, Orcas Road, sometimes called the Horseshoe Highway, left off the Ferry, all the way to Eastsound Village, about 9.5 miles. Don’t turn off until you see the wide spot in the road after you come down the 20mph hill. There, turn right into Eastsound Village. Landmark  Orcas Island is the first hotel on the left-hand side, just one block into town, across the street from Waterfront Park. We’ll be waiting for you!

If you do not plan on bringing a car or renting a car, please call to ask about our complimentary ride service. It is subject to availability and can only seat four.
