Meet The Innkeepers
Alyce and Vin moved to Orcas Island in December 2023, to become the innkeepers at the Landmark Inn. They, along with their young son, moved from a Colorado mountain top resort and lodge.

Both originally from a small area in MA between the Cape and Boston, they grew up in towns right next to each other but didn't meet until well into their adulthood! Alyce spent much of her early career working in seasonal travel roles, which brought her all over the world. Vincente was an extensive traveler but anchored close to his hometown. After their 2020 wedding, they made the big move to Colorado, where Alyce had lived for 6 years previously, before finding their home on Orcas!

As avid canoe and kayakers (ask Alyce about a 27 mile canoe overnight 6 months pregnant, she does NOT recommend), who love to be out in nature, Orcas Island is the perfect haven to raise their little guy. While they love hiking in the forests, their son is obsessed with the water and nothing could be better in his mind than being right across from the beach!

Alyce and Vin are always happy to chat with their guests about recommendations for the area-- or about good books, mythology, science, travel--okay maybe they're just happy to chat! They look forward to meeting you!
About Landmark Inn
The Landmark is unique compared to other Orcas Island lodging, as each unit is privately owned, and varies slightly from one unit to the next. This benefit is also paired with the convenience of a more typical inn, with housekeeping services and on-site innkeepers. Amenities
Each of our rooms comes stocked with basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion as well as coffee, salt/pepper, full dishes and a pot and pan set! Whether you want to create your own feast using some local shellfish and produce, or just sip some cocktails on the porch and watch the sun over the bay, our kitchen has what you need.
All of our units have smart TVs that are equipped with YouTubeTV, and most units feature books, puzzles and boardgames, to keep you entertained while relaxing inside.
We have complimentary beach toys for our youngest travelers, as well as the use of beach towels and picnic blankets.

Enjoy our newly remodeled outdoor area complete with a pergola covered gas firepit and comfortable Adirondack chairs-- a perfect spot for misty evenings!
You can also enjoy the use of our gas barbecue grill, complete with grilling tools and a picnic table. Perfect for grilling up your local catch!
